Yushun Himba 2010

The first dead heat in a major race in Japan came in the 2010 Yushun Himba (Group 1 - 2400 metres)(Japanese Oaks), when Apapane and Saint Emilion tied .

Apapane had previously won the Group 1 Saksuka Sho (1000 Guineas) and was the best filly in 2009 after winning the Group 1 Hanshin Stakes.
