Singapore Guineas 2011

The 2011 Singapore Guineas over 1,600 metres at Krangi was well won by Gingerbread Man.

By winning the Guineas, Gingerbread Man won all three legs of the Singapore Three Year Old Challenge. He had previously won the Three Year Old Sprint over 1,200 metres and the Three Year Old Classic over 1,400 metres. By winning all three races, Gingerbread Man emulated Better Than Ever's treble in 2010.

Gingerbread Man was trained by Bruce Marsh and ridden by Vlad Duric.

In the race, he was a longtime leader and could not be passed by Ato who fell back to be third, allowing Clear For Action to be second. Gingerbread Man won by one and a half lengths.
