Proud Tower Too

Proud Tower Too made all to win the 2006 Dubai Golden Shaheen (Group 1), sponsored by Gulf News.

The race was effectively an American clean sweep, with US horses taking the first five places.

Thor’s Echo, under Corey Nakatani, finished second beaten one and a quarter lengths, with Jet West in third.

The 3-1 favourite was Brazillian star Heart Alone, who finished eleventh of the fifteen runners.

Proud Tower Too was trained by Sal Gonzalez and ridden by David Cohen.

Bred in California, Proud Tower Too is a son of Proud Irish.

In December 2005, Proud Tower Too won the Malibu Stakes (Group 1) at Santa Anita.
