Moon Ballad

In 2003 Moon Ballad emulated what his sire Singspiel achieved in 1997, namely winning the Dubai World Cup.

Moon Ballad dominated the race in a way Dubai Millenium had in 2000, drawing away and winning by an impressive five lengths. Behind Moon Ballad were Harlans Holiday in second, followed by Nayef, Grandera and State Shinto.

Moon Ballad was owned by Godolphin and ridden by Frankie Dettori, who was winning his second Dubai World Cup.
