Hong Kong Cup 2007

Ramonti rounded off a fantastic season with his fourth Group One success of the year in the 2007 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup.

The Godolphin horse beat Viva Pataca by half a length and then survived a stewards'' inquiry after which the positions remained the same.

Vengeance Of Rain was disappointing, finishing sixth of the seven runners.

This was Godolphin's second win in the Hong Kong Cup after Fantastic Light in 2000 when Frankie Dettori also rode. Dettori also won the race on Falbrav in 2003.
