Edward Dunlop

Born October 20, 1968, the son of champion trainer John Dunlop, Ed took out his trainer''s licence in 1994.

Ta Rib was his first Classic winner in 1996 and Iktamal was his first Gr.1 scorer in Britain later that year.

Won the Irish Oaks in 2001 with Lailani and the same race in 2004 with brilliant Ouija Board – the winner of 7 Gr.1s in total and the first to twice scoop the European Horse of the Year crown.

Court Masterpiece has also won him two Gr.1 races.
