Conghua Training Centre in Guangzhou

Successful cross-border movement of horses between Hong Kong and Mainland China marks a major milestone in the development of the Conghua Training Centre in Guangzhou.
A milestone in the development of the Conghua Training Centre to allow Hong Kong race horses to train in Guangdong was reached on 1 March 2016 , with the successful completion of cross-border movement of horses. The horses travelled from Sha Tin to Conghua on 29 February, stabling overnight in Conghua, and returning to Sha Tin today. Following today’s success, The Hong Kong Jockey Club will be conducting more cross-border horse movements in the future.

The Conghua Training Centre, currently under construction in Conghua, Guangzhou, will provide world class horse training and care facilities, and a solid platform for boosting Hong Kong racehorses and racing.
