Pardubice

The Pardubice is the Czech Republic's famous cross country steeplechase run at Pardubice on a sunday each year in early October.

2005 saw the 115th running of the Pardubice.

The Pardubice is a race over 7 kms and with 30 jumps selected from a possible 50+. There are all sorts of natural jumps plus hurdles, water jumps, triples, doubles and the famous Taxis fence, where horses take off over a bank and a hedge and land much lower on the other side.

In 2004 the mare Registana won it for the fourth time.
