Hong Kong Cup 2008 "Hyperion's" pre-race article

"Hyperion" (Editor Robert Bishop) is in Hong Kong for tomorrow's Hong Kong Cup, Hong Kong Vase, Hong Kong Mile and Hong Kong Sprint.

"There are some particularly strong fields this year with standout favourites Viva Pataca (Cup), Doctor Dino (Vase), Good Ba Ba (Mile) and Apache Cat (Sprint)" said Hyperion "but we are trying to find better value in all the races".

In the Hong Kong Sprint, Hyperion favours French sprinter Marchand D'Or to upset Apache Cat, with Green Birdie the one for the trifecta.

In the Hong Kong Mile ,we favour Japan's rising star Super Hornet EW to overcome a difficult draw with Natagora the other runner who could repesent good value.

In the Hong Kong Vase, Hyperion favours Melboune Cup runner-up Purple Moon to perform better than he did last month in the Japan Cup with Japan's Jaguar Mail and Breeders Cup Marathon winner Muhannak the other preferred runners.

In the Hong Kong Cup itself, Hyperion will oppose Viva Pataca at the prices and prefers Eagle Mountain and Lush Lashes EW.
