Firebreak

Firebreak
Godolphin`s Firebreak, by Charnwood Forest, had a superb 2004, in which he easily retained his Godolphin Mile crown in March at Nad Al Sheba and then ended the year with his first Group One victory in the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin.

In 2003 Firebreak won the Godolphin Mile by three-quarters of a length from Grey Memo. His victory in the same race in 2004 was by four and a half lengths over Tropical Star.

In 2003 he came fifth in the Hong Kong Mile won by Lucky Owners but Godolphin`s perseverence with him in that race paid off in 2004 when he beat Perfect Partner by three quarters of a length.
